APPROVALS
RoHS is the restriction of Hazardous Substances, RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the Euorpean Union and restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. All applicable products in the EU market after July 1, 2006 must pass RoHS compliance. The substances banned under RoHS are lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVl), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).
UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is a safety consulting and certification company headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois. It maintains offices in 46 countries. UL was established in 1894 and has participated in the safety analysis of many of the last century's new technologies, most notably the public adoption of electricity and the drafting of safety standards for electrical devices and components.

IEC EN61386 Is the new European standard for protection systems for electrical conduits, cables, rigid conduits and tubing's, fittings that replaces the old IEC EN50086. IEC EN61386 conformance meets the performance for IP Ratings, Operating temperatures, fatigue life factor. This norm defines the test used for the systems of conduits and accessories used for the protection of cables used in installations.
